Diagnosis of Pulpitis from Dental Panoramic Radiograph Using Histogram of Gradients with Discrete Wavelet Transform and Multilevel Neural Network Techniques

Radiograph plays the major role of diagnosis, treatment and surgery in Dental field. There are many types Intra extra oral radiographs which Panoramic helps visualising full view cavity. Pulpitis is dental diseases caused due to inflammation pulp from untreated caries, trauma or multiple restorations leads Apical Periodontitis. To predict severity vitality has be evaluated. Radiographs dentist diagnosing extent tooth decay inflammation. An automatic diagnostic model proposed using robust algorithms diagnose pulpits. used research pulpitis classify normal teeth pulpitis. The collected images pre-processed Histogram Equalization filtered Gaussian Median filters. Modified K-Means algorithm applied segment bony area cavity area.
